Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley was founded in 1979 by volunteers dedicated to providing end of life care for both patients and families residing in Catawba County, North Carolina and its surrounding counties. Today, our team of professionals and volunteers serves more than 250 hospice patients, 300 Palliative Care/Life Transitions clients daily.

Our Mission is to provide world class, compassionate care by engaging all individuals and their families to enhance living.

A comprehensive program of medical care, counseling, and spiritual support for patients and families is offered regardless of diagnosis, age, gender, nationality, race, faith, sexual preference, disability, or ability to pay. PCHCV is licensed by the state of North Carolina, certified by Medicare and Medicaid, is nationally accredited, and complies with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy practices.
